Become Certified in Cultural Proficiency

Participants are prepared to develop capacity within their district or agency. The participants become members of the Cultural Proficiency Learning Community, which provides additional opportunities for professional learning, networking, and growth.

Participants will finish the training with the following deliverables:

  • Three Cultural Proficiency texts;

  • Resources to use with learners in their own districts, schools, or agencies;

  • A model transformative equity action plan;

  • Knowledge and skills to lead culturally proficient learning strategies;

  • Knowledge and skills to coach other using the Culturally Proficient Coaching model;

  • A collection of data related to educational policies, practices, and behaviors; and

  • A planned Cultural Proficiency event in their districts, schools, or agencies.
